Desktop app for Windows and macOS
A small bar that sits on top of Meet, Teams or Zoom. Record the call on this computer, or switch on live guidance while you talk.
- Windows: Windows 10 or later. Download the installer (signed .exe).
- macOS: macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Sign in and download it from Apps.
Windows
- 1Run the installer and confirm Teneks as the publisher when Windows asks.
- 2Open Teneks from the Start menu, allow it through Windows Firewall and sign in.
- 3Allow microphone access, check your audio settings and press Start.
macOS
- 1Open the .dmg and drag Teneks into Applications.
- 2Open Teneks, allow it in Privacy & Security if macOS asks, and sign in.
- 3Grant microphone and system audio access, then start your first recording.
Two ways to use it
- Local: records the call on this computer and uploads it to your workspace for the transcript, summary and scoring.
- Live: shows guidance during the call, so you see the prompt while the customer is still talking.
If something looks wrong
- Sign-in does not hand back to the app. Sign in through the browser window the app opens and leave it open until it returns you to Teneks. If nothing happens, quit the app fully and try once more.
- No audio is captured. Grant microphone access in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone on macOS, or Settings › Privacy › Microphone on Windows, then restart the app.
