Delete your Teneks account

Teneks is the meeting recording app by TENEKSAI OÜ, for iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and the web. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Teneks on your iPhone or Android phone and sign in.
  2. Open Settings: tap the person icon at the top of the Meetings screen, or the Profile tab, depending on your role.
  3. Tap Delete my account at the bottom, read what will be deleted, and confirm.

Or ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email contact@teneks.ai from the email address of your Teneks account, with the subject “Delete my Teneks account”. We check that the request comes from you, schedule the deletion, and reply to confirm it, normally within one business day.

What happens next

Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days after you ask. Until then you can change your mind: sign in and choose Keep my account. After 30 days the deletion runs automatically and cannot be undone.

If you bought Teneks yourself

Your account and everything in it is deleted: your name and sign-in details, every meeting you recorded (audio, transcript, summary and scores), your workspace and its settings, and any voice profile. An active subscription is cancelled first.

If your account was provided by your employer or organisation

Your personal details are removed: your name, email address, password, two-step verification, trusted devices and any voice profile, and the account can no longer be used. The meeting records you made belong to your organisation, so they stay under its control with your name removed. To have those deleted as well, ask your administrator, or email contact@teneks.ai from your work address and we will put you in touch with them.

What we keep, and for how long

  • A record that you agreed to our recording terms, as evidence of that consent.
  • Security and audit logs (for example sign-in events), kept for up to two years to protect the service and meet legal obligations, as our Terms of Service describe.
