Which AI Sales Tool Fits Your Team's Work?

When a team asks for “sales AI,” the request can mean very different things. A rep may want help answering a customer, a manager may want useful coaching examples and an operations lead may want a more reliable forecast.

Write down the task before building a shortlist. Several products cover more than one area, but the feature you need may depend on the plan or setup.

Help during a conversation

If reps want support with unfamiliar questions or objections, evaluate live guidance. Try it in a representative call and ask whether the suggestions are relevant, timely and easy to read while listening.

Teneks Live guidance is one option. Our comparison of live guidance and post-call review explains how the two fit into coaching.

A reliable record for follow-up

If people struggle to find what a customer said, focus on transcription, speaker labels, summaries and search. Check whether commitments are attributed correctly and whether a colleague can find the original passage.

Compare Teneks Meetings with the meeting workflows in products such as Fireflies and Otter. Evaluate the output your team will use rather than assuming that every note-taking plan has the same features.

Better material for coaching

If the manager spends too long finding examples, look at call analysis and scorecards. Ask the tool to locate a behaviour you can check in the recording.

Review both flagged and unflagged calls. Good coverage helps, but the labels still need checking. Our guide to reviewing sales calls describes that process.

Pipeline review and forecasting

If forecasting is the main requirement, include products designed for that work. Check the CRM data they need, how forecasts are produced and how managers investigate a change.

Discuss the rollout with the people responsible for revenue operations. Our Gong comparison links to vendor information to help you scope that evaluation.

Turn the shortlist into a practical trial

Choose a representative recording and a task each product should help complete. Include your usual languages, devices and team permissions. For live features, run a conversation as well as testing saved recordings.

Keep the results with the quote: required features, seats, usage, setup work and renewal terms. You can then compare the software against the same job and budget.

If you want to start with the meeting output, upload a recording to Teneks.

Try it on a call of your own

Everything above is easy to claim and easy to check. Drop in a real recording (your language, your speakers, your background noise) and read the transcript and summary of the first 30 seconds. Free, no account.
